Pursuant to RCW Chapters 35A.63 and 58.17 the office of hearing examiner is herein created. The office of hearing examiner shall not be a municipal department, or a part thereof, of the city of Selah and shall be administered and supervised solely by the examiner. For the purpose of this chapter, the terms "hearing examiner" and "examiner" shall have the same meaning unless stated otherwise. (Ord. 1457, § 2, 1999.)
