Sidewalks of cement concrete shall be installed on both sides of an arterial street and collector streets. On a residential street, cement concrete sidewalks shall be installed on at least one side of the street. The sidewalk shall be located on the public right-of-way contiguous to the curbs. Sidewalks shall be a minimum of five feet wide on arterial streets and five feet wide on all other streets and shall be constructed in accordance with the standards set forth in Section 10.50.021 and Chapter 7 of the City of Selah Design, Construction Standards, and Specifications Manual for Public Works Improvements as adopted in Section 13.01.010.
