It is unlawful for any person to make a public display of fireworks within the city of Selah without having first obtained a permit to do so. Application requirements and approval from the fire chief shall be as per Sections 6.62.020 through 6.62.027, as amended, in this chapter. Every public display of fireworks shall be handled or supervised by a competent and experienced pyrotechnic operator as approved by the fire chief and licensed by the State Fire Marshal.
