2.11.020 Source of funding.
This section is included in your selections.
The fire control fund shall be separate from the current expense fund of the city and shall receive funding through the following sources:
(a) Contribution from city real and personal property tax revenues in appropriate amounts; and
(b) Contribution from Yakima County Fire District No. 2 or its successor or replacement up to a maximum of one dollar and fifty cents per each one thousand dollars of assessed valuation. The district, or its successor or replacement, will retain sufficient funds each year for its own administrative expenses. (Ord. 2208, § 1 (Exh. A), 2023; Ord. 852,, 1986.)
