All licenses issued pursuant to the provisions of this chapter shall be kept posted by the licensee in a conspicuous place in his principal place of business located in the city. No person to whom a license has been issued shall suffer or allow any other persons chargeable with a separate license to operate under or display his license, nor shall such other person operate under or display such license.
