1 Editor's note: Notwithstanding any language contained in this chapter to the contrary, any existing residential dwelling units within the city limits of the city of Selah as of August 31, 1999 shall, upon application to hook-up to city sewer and/or water, be charged the plant investment fees in effect prior to the adoption of the ordinance codified in this chapter (in the amounts of sixty-five dollars for a water hook-up and forty-eight dollars for a sewer hook-up). This exception to the fees adopted in the ordinance codified in this chapter will be in effect for ten years from the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter.
