"Floodway fringe" for purposes of administering Sections 16.05.20 through 16.05.72 means that portion of a floodplain which is inundated by floodwaters but is not within a defined floodway. Floodway fringes serve as temporary storage for floodwaters. (Ord. 2123, § 1 (Att.), 2021.)
