No structure or land shall be constructed, located, extended, converted or altered without full compliance with the terms of this chapter and other applicable regulations. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter or failing to comply with the terms and provisions thereof is guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed one thousand dollars, or imprisoned for a period not to exceed ninety days, or both such fine and imprisonment for each such violation. Each day that any person, firm or corporation continues to violate or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter shall be considered a separate offense. The penalty prescribed in this section is cumulative in addition to any other remedy, criminal or civil, and a violation hereunder may also be subject to enforcement and penalties as provided in Chapter 6.75, Code Enforcement.
