The planning commission chairman shall be appointed by the mayor prior to the first meeting of each year. The commission shall elect a vice-chairman at the first meeting of each year from its members. The commission shall hold regular meetings which are scheduled to occur on the first and third Tuesdays of every month, as needed. All regular meetings shall be open to the public and shall be held in the City Hall unless there is public notification in advance of the meeting disclosing a different location of the meeting. A secretary shall be provided by the administrative staff of the city to prepare minutes and keep such record and perform such other duties as prescribed by the city administrator.
